The rooms are starting to show signs of age but were perfectly clean. The bathroom was a decent size. The service was exceptional, catering to our food preferences and allergies, but there was an unfortunate incident when a staff member entered our room without knocking, leading to a privacy concern. The location was stunning, offering a quiet place to relax under a 400-year-old Sycamore tree or enjoy a swim in the pool with a unique stone ceiling. The presence of geese, cows, and peacocks added to the charm. The dining experience was delightful and surprising, with a variety of delicious options served elegantly. However, the lack of variety in the breakfast was a slight letdown. Facilities were satisfactory. The grounds were beautiful with a lot of history. The hotel combines comfort and nature seamlessly. The price was reasonable for what we received.
